Learning to snowboard is mentally difficult. For many, the
stumbling block in learning is in the mind. It looks difficult
and unlike anything you've tried before, so it must be really
tough. In reality, the moves are more instinctual than skiing.
Once you find your balance and the right moves, you'll progress
quickly. Like any new sport, you will be sore the first
day. Take a warm bath afterwards. You'll bounce back.
If the ski slope allows
snowboarding, lessons and rentals will be offered. The
snowboarding packages are a great deal too. Do your homework
first though. A lot of slopes don't allow snowboarding.
