February 27-March 2, 2003

SKI Magazine named the Breckenridge Women’s Seminar as a "clinic that really works". It provides a comfortable, supportive, fun environment for women to perfect their individual technique and style. Acknowledging that a female’s physiology is unique, this seminar focuses on how proper body positioning can simplify the sport, bringing greater levels of skill, confidence and comfort on the slopes. The female instructors are selected based on their talent and enthusiasm for teaching this special group.

The Women’s Seminar is about YOU

and what YOU want to accomplish.

For example, the theme of last February’s seminar was Risk, which means different things to different people. Each individual took that Risk and overcame it in her own way. For most women, it was simply going outside her comfort zone with the encouragement of her instructor and peers. The following quote set the stage for the seminar; and after three days, the participants really soared.

"Come to the edge," I said

"No, we’re afraid."

"Come to the edge," I said again.

"No we are afraid we’ll fall."

"Come to the edge," I told them,

and they came,

and I pushed them,

and they flew! -Liz Ross
